Nitin M. Nagarkar is the Director of the Department of Medical College at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in India. With an impressive academic background, he earned honours in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Forensic Medicine during his MBBS Examination. Additionally, he achieved notable distinctions such as securing the second prize in the MS (ENT) examination conducted by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, and winning the first prize in the Inter Medical College ENT Quiz in Jaipur. Dr. Nagarkar has received recognition for his contributions, including the Distinguished Service Award by the Delhi Medical Association on Doctor’s Day in 2006. He has served in various capacities, including as a member of the Academic Council of the Indira Gandhi National Open University and the Expert Group for Research at IIM Raipur. Dr. Nagarkar has also fulfilled administrative responsibilities, including spearheading the development of AIIMS Raipur into a world-class health institute, focusing on faculty recruitment, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting research initiatives. His clinical expertise encompasses the management of a wide range of ENT diseases, with a special interest in Head & Neck surgery, including oncological and laser procedures. Dr. Nagarkar's overarching goal is to elevate AIIMS Raipur into a renowned institution of excellence in the years ahead.
